Mooresville Breakfast Ruck

Mooresville Breakfast Ruck

Nov 13, 7:00am - Nov 13, 10:00am+1Dec 11, 7:00am - Dec 11, 10:00am

Mi Amiche

Join us for our monthly Breakfast Ruck, hosted by Mi Amiche! This short 2-mile ruck starts at 8:00 a.m. and is our monthly "Rucking 101" class for beginners. It's a great way to get into rucking and to get to know your fellow ruckers.

What is rucking? Rucking is urban hiking - walking with a weighted backpack (a ruck sack).

We will meet at Mi Amiche and park so as not to obstruct their normal breakfast crowd. We'll go for a short, easy two-mile ruck down Morrison Plantation Parkway and around the YMCA track and return to Mi Amiche to enjoy breakfast together.

This is a FREE event (you'll have to buy your own breakfast). All you need is a backpack, comfortable shoes, and something to use for weights. You can get some ideas here: ruckmooresville.com/how-to-ruck/

If you're not a beginner and want to get in more miles beforehand, meet us at 7:00 a.m. We'll return to Mi Amiche at 8:00 to meet up with other ruckers doing the 2-mile route.

Breakfast will most likely be outside on their patio. We want to be respectful to Mi Amichi and their patrons.

Please join our Facebook group for announcements and updates about our rucks.

We hope you can join us for some low-impact cardio and some great fun and fellowship!
